No, outside horses are not allowed. We provide enough horses for all guests.

At least 1 guide is provided for all horseback riding on the ranch.

There is no equipment provided except long tables and chairs. However, Pueblo has many options for renting equipment. For a fee, we will make those arrangements for you.

There is one bathroom shared between both bedrooms in the bunkhouse/cookhouse.

It is 30 minutes from Pueblo, 1 ¼ hour to COS, and 2 ½ hours to DIA

It depends on the winter, but usually not more than a few inches at a time.

There is a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, filters, and Folger’s coffee provided.

December-February, usually below freezing at night, highs in 40’s and 50’s. March , April, and October usually don’t freeze at night, highs in 60’s and 70’s. June-August, highs in the 90’s and 60’s in the evenings. May and September usually have highs in 80’s lows in the 60’s.

Indoor group seating is comfortable at 12, with existing buildings. Outdoor Capacity can seat 50. Additional tents, table and chairs can be rented to accommodate events up to 250 capacity. Overnight guests are limited to 6.

There is no fish in the Huerfano River by the ranch. The closest fishing is at the Pueblo Reservoir, 45 minute drive. There is some limited fishing equipment available here for our guests to use if desired.

No, unfortunately that is too dangerous of an activity unless you are a trained professional.

No we do not raise our own beef cattle. All our animals are raised for the purpose of rodeo competition. However, Frank’s Meat Market in Pueblo has a wonderful selection.

You may pitch a tent in the pasture, if you would like to sleep outside during your stay. However, you will be still charged the same.

Dogs are allowed in the bunkhouse, but not on the furniture. All dogs must be leashed outside. We can’t allow them to chase the horses. There will be a $200 refundable damage deposit required with your payment.

There is a propane Bar B-Q for your use, but no dutch oven.

When there is no fire ban, or wind, a camp fire is permitted in our designated area, and firewood is supplied.

Correct, that is why there is a minimum stay, to accommodate for privacy.

We will offer you many guided tours around the ranch in ranch vehicles during your stay, depending on the length of your visit. However, the main ranch house is off limits to guests.

There is very limited cell service at the ranch, so plan accordingly, for it not to work. Please enjoy the peace and relaxation. There is a landline available in your  bunkhouse with unlimited long distance:  This phone  number will be provided to you when you arrive to distribute to whoever you choose.
